Support For Young Talents

Award for Promising Young Talents in Pharmaceutical Science

Daiichi Sankyo Master Award 2018

For the last ten years we as Daiichi Sankyo Europe have supported young graduates from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (LMU). "We are happy to see so many talents graduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences as we believe that interdisciplinarity which is built into the Pharmaceutical Science curriculum is also key for succeeding in the industrial development of drugs", says Nora Urbanetz, Head of Pharmaceutical Development at Daiichi Sankyo Europe.

This year's "Daiichi Sankyo Master Prize" was handed over by Dr. Thomas Profitlich, Head of Formulation Technology at Daiichi Sankyo Europe, to graduate Anna Christina Ramershoven.

Sustainable Support for University Students

Since 2009 we are supporting outstanding graduates of Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (LMU) with this special award. "We want to provide long-term and sustainable support for this local cause, because our company's European roots are in Bavaria", says Nora Urbanetz. Over 400 of our employees are developing and manufacturing tablets in Pfaffenhofen, 60 kilometres north of the Bavarian capital of Munich.
